Though he is outfitted with a sensor package and weapons system nearly identical to his twin brother Hardtop, Swindle scorns long-range tactics. He´d rather charge an Autobot and club him across the visual cluster with his laser rifle than actually use it to blast another robot. Swindle is deceptively agile and tough for his size, traits developed over years of picking fights and winning. He is not as slavishly loyal to Megatron as his brother; he will work for anyone who lets him trash Autobots.
Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had this figure in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy Flo and I have reviewed another version of this toy, which is linked below for reference.
Remarks: Swindle here is a straight-up repaint of Cybertron Hardtop, whom I have reviewed before. No tooling changes, just a simple new paint job and a new name, too. Despite carrying the name of the G1 Combaticon, Cybertron Swindle is nothing like his famous predecessor, but rather a brawler who just wants to fight. He never appeared in the cartoon, only in the text story "Force of Habit" from the Transformers Collectors Club.
