Beast Hunters Darksteel

Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had this figure in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy James aka Caked-Up and I have reviewed another version of this toy, which is linked below for reference.

Remarks: Darksteel is a straight-up repaint of Beast Hunters Grimwing, whom I have previously reviewed. He was part of the Target-exclusive "Rise of the Predacons" subline and, unlike the much easier to find Grimwing, actually appeared in the Predacons Rising TV movie. The Robots in Disguise sequel later revealed that he, along with the other Predacons, was tricked and killed by Starscream, a rather inglorious ending for what was supposed to be a near-invincible beast. Anyway, Darksteel looks great in blue. Still doesn't explain why this mold was never retooled into Beast Wars Silverbolt.
